Ryan Miller earned his first win in almost three weeks Monday night, stopping 24 of 26 shots against Tampa Bay. Miller missed four games earlier this month with an abdominal strain, then picked up a loss Saturday in his first game back.

"He'll go out and probably go through some static drills without taking shots and go through his motions to see how he feels. We'll go from there," coach Lindy Ruff said. "His body's going to tell him whether he's right or not."

Ryan Miller did not participate in the morning skate Monday, the fourth consecutive day he's been kept off the ice since suffering a strained abdominal muscle, according to the Buffalo News. The Sabres will be cautious with Miller since they have such a solid backup in Martin Biron. "We're going to make sure," coach Lindy Ruff said. "He's feeling better, but [he'll rest] until he feels great. And when he feels great, we might give him another day."
