Radim Vrbata is nearing his return from a groin injury, according to the St. Petersburg Times. He said, "Before the injury I didn't know exactly what my role was. That's the reason I was signed here, to have the same season I had last year. So, we'll see what this road trip brings."

Radim Vrbata scored a goal and added two assists in the Coyotes 4-0 win over the Kings in Wayne Gretzky's 100th victory behind the bench. Don't look now but Vrbata is up to 27 goals on the year, which is actually one more than Marian Hossa if you need a comparison to show how well Vrbata is doing this season.
