The AP reports that the Blue Jackets re-signed restricted free agent goalie Pascal Leclaire on Wednesday to a three-year contract through the 2010-11 season. The 25-year-old is coming off his best season, going 24-17-6 with a 2.25 goals-against average, .919 save percentage and nine shutouts in 54 games. Leclaire’s record was the best in franchise history and his shutout total nearly doubled the previous club mark of five set by Marc Denis in 2002-03. After the season, Leclaire helped Canada win a silver medal at the world championships, going 4-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and one shutout in four games.

Pascal Leclaire and the Blue Jackets continue to try and work out a contract extension, according to the Columbus Dispatch. "I can tell you that the goal on our part is to get him signed and playing for the Blue Jackets," agent Don Meehan said.

Blue Jackets GM Scott Howson has denied reports that contract talks with Pascal Leclaire aren't going well, the Columbus Dispatch notes. "We haven't really even begun negotiating," Howson explains. "I've given them...a few different offers to consider and get back to me. We're in the early stages." LeClaire is due to become a restricted free agent on July 1. "It's a false report," Howson adds. "There's absolutely no truth to it."

Pascal Leclaire, playing just his second game since returning from a concussion, allowed three goals on 25 shots to pick up his 17th regulation loss of the season for the Blue Jackets. This game marks the fourth straight contest in which Leclaire has allowed three goals as he limps toward the finish of what has otherwise been a spectacular season.

Pascal Leclaire figures to return from a concussion on Thursday, this according to the Columbus Dispatch. Leclaire hasn't played since March 14th, yet he still sits near the top of the leagues leader board in SV% (.919), GAA (2.22) and shutouts (nine). Activate him if you normally would, and that means if he is on your roster, he should be started on Thursday.

Pascal Leclaire missed Wednesday's game against Detroit, according to NHL.com. He is still being bothered by his head injury and his return to the ice is unclear.

Pascal Leclaire took a puck to the head during pre-game warmups and was held out of Sunday's game, according to the Columbus Dispatch. It's not clear when Leclaire will be ready to play again, but Fredrik Norrena would continue to start in Leclaire's absence.

Pascal Leclaire allowed five goals on Sunday night, the first time he has allowed more than two goals in five starts as he lost his 12th game of the season. Everyone has nights like this and Leclaire, who entered the game with a 2.09 GAA, certainly can be forgiven for one bad outing amidst a string of wonderful work this year though his GAA has ballooned to 3.15 in his last seven games.

Pascal Leclaire didn't start Wednesday night's game because he was ailing from the flu, according to the Columbus Dispatch. Fredrik Norrena started in Leclaire's place Wednesday and struggled mightily in a 7-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Pascal Leclaire has a sprained neck that has kept him out of action, but after facing shots at practice on Saturday he feels that he is ready to return to the lineup on Sunday. HC Ken Hitchcock is being a bit more cautious. "We'll see how Pascal is at the morning skate," Hitchcock said. "I want to see how he feels, how he plays the puck. And I want to talk it over with the rest of the coaches." Leclaire has been borderline spectacular this season with a 2.10 GAA, .925 SV% and a league leading eight shutouts. Pascal Leclaire will not face the Sharks on Friday. He's not traveling with the Blue Jackets for their two-game road trip due to a bruised neck, according to the Contra Costa Times. Look for Fredrik Norrena to start in Leclaire's stead.

Pascal Leclaire was run over by two players in the second period and had to be helped off the ice. He was diagnosed with a bruised neck and will not travel with the Blue Jackets when the depart for games in Phoenix and San Jose, according to the AP. Leclair's had a fantastic season and is leading the NHL with eight shutouts, but he may miss some game action, in which case Fredrik Norrena would get the nod in goal.
