The Columbus Blue Jackets activated Raffi Torres off of injured reserve on Saturday. He is expected to be in the lineup against the Blackhawks, according to the AP. He has been out since September 29 with a shoulder injury.

Raffi Torres will miss the next six weeks after separating his shoulder in a second period fight with Ben Eager on Monday night, according to the Associated Press.

The AP reports that Raffi Torres made his preseason debut in the Blue Jackets 7-1 triumph over the Chicago Blackhawks but left in the second period with an undisclosed injury. The 26-year-old former first-round pick of the New York Islanders scored Columbus third goal of Mondays win at 8:45 of the second period but was injured later in the session and never returned.
