In what was likely a preview of a World championship semifinal game, Canada defeated the United States 5-4 Tuesday afternoon. Dany Heatley scored with less than a minute left, his second of the game, to propel Canada to victory. The line of Heatley, Rick Nash and Ryan Getzlaf have combined for 22 points in three games.

Rick Nash , recently appointed to team captain, made good on the role of leader in Columbus' 3-0 win over Calgary. Nash scored a goal and earned two assists on the night, giving him a team-leading 64 points this season. Nash is a star with a ton of good years ahead, and he's served fantasy owners well this season.

Columbus selected three-time All-Star Rick Nash as captain Wednesday, replacing the recently traded Adam Foote, this according to ESPN. The 23-year-old Nash has 35 goals and 23 assists in 68 games this year.
