A game after scoring the OT winner to allow the Flyers to enter the second round, Joffrey Lupul almost was the hero again scoring the go ahead goal in the third period of Game 1 against the Canadiens. Unfortunately for the Flyers, the Habs tied it up in the 3rd and then won it in OT.

Joffrey Lupul, who has suffered a number of nagging injuries this season, continues to play with pain. The Philadelphia Daily News reports that even if the discomfort level is so high he can’t even practice, he will continue to dress and play. The winger has 42 points in 49 games this season making it obvious just how valuable he is to the team's overall success.

Joffrey Lupul returned to the ice Wednesday after missing 12 games with a high right ankle sprain, according to Sports Network. Lupul, who has recorded 18 goals and 21 assists in 44 games this season, should immediately be re-inserted into your lineup.

Joffrey Lupul is not ready to get back into game action, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I can't really put a time line on it because I've never really had an injury like this," he said. "It doesn't seem to be healing quickly and that's what they told me to be prepared for. That's the type of injury it is." That's how it is with high-ankle sprains. He's been skating in practice, at least, but you'll need to keep him benched for now.

Joffrey Lupul could return to the lineup as early as Saturday, according to the Courier Post. Lupul has missed the last eight games with an ankle ailment. At the very least, we should see the forward back on the ice by next Tuesday in Toronto.

Flyers right-winger Joffrey Lupul has been cleared to play against the Rangers on Saturday, five days earlier than expected, according to the AP. Lupul has been sidelined since Jan. 5 with a spinal cord contusion. He suffered the injury in a collision with teammate Derian Hatcher at Toronto.

Joffrey Lupul will be out for at least two more weeks, a result of his concussion. The Flyers believe that Lupul will be out until Feb. 14th, though that is still not certain. "The MRI was clear but the doctor wants to err on the side of caution," Lupul said. "I can't be too upset with that. In the long run, it's probably better to make sure I'm playing for this team in the playoffs and make sure it's something that doesn't bother me for the rest of my career."

Joffrey Lupul passed his baseline concussion test on Saturday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. That's the first step towards returning to game action. The second will be getting medical clearance to return from his bruised spinal cord, which he hopes receive on Monday. If that happens, he'll be cleared for full-contact practices and won't be far off from skating in games.

Joffrey Lupul continues to receive good news about his recovery from a spinal cord contusion, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "My neck is a little stiff but that's maybe from jumping back in the gym a little too hard and too quick, but that will be gone by tomorrow," he said. "The MRI was good. I see the team doctor and the neurosurgeon [today], and they'll make a diagnosis." He's hoping that doctors will clear him to return from the spinal injury and a concussion to practice on Monday. He was ripping things up before being sidelined, scoring 16 goals and tallying 35 points in 39 games.

Lupul was injured when he collided with teammate Darien Hatcher in Philadelphia's 3-2 win over Toronto Saturday. "Right now we have to give Joffrey some complete time off," GM Paul Holmgren said in the AP. "He's going to take a couple weeks off from doing pretty much everything and then we'll evaluate him at that point two weeks from now."
