Josh Harding stopped 25 of 26 shots but had to leave the game ealry on Wednesday as the Wild beat the Sabres 3-2. Harding left the game in the third period after a fluke accident in front of the Minnesota net according to the AP. Buffalo’s Dylan Hunter lifted the stick of Wild defenseman Martin Skoula in the crease, causing Skolua’s blade to enter the eye hole of Harding’s mask. Harding immediately dropped to the ice and was helped off by a trainer.

Josh Harding was outstanding in relief Thursday, stopping 26 of 27 shots after Niklas Backstrom was pulled early in the second period at Detroit. Harding also stopped two of three shots in the shootout victory, and you get the idea this performance will probably get him the call Friday at Chicago.
