Craig Anderson lost his shutout streak in the first period on Thursday night but he still stopped 25 of 27 shots to pick up his third straight victory for the Panthers. After the game HC Jacques Martin was non-committal about who would start the next game for the Panthers, but who would you start if one of your goalies had allowed three goals in four games?

Craig Anderson posted a shutout on Tuesday night, and over the past two games he has stopped everyone one of the 93 shots sent his way. "Who would have ever thought, with all the great goalies that have ever played this game and will play this game, that I'd be the guy you'd be talking to right now about this? It's definitely an honor," Anderson said. Anderson has been so solid in fact, that his 93 saves over two consecutive games are the largest number of saves in league history in back-to-back shutouts.

Craig Anderson doesn't get many chances to play, but he's made the most of his opportunities the last two times out. Anderson followed up his 40-save effort from last Saturday with a shutout Sunday in which he stopped a whopping 53 Isles' shots. Anderson's fantasy value is nil, but he's on an impressive little mini-run nonetheless.
