Fernando Pisani is a finalist for the Bill Masterson Memorial Trophy, the AP reports. The award honors the NHL player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication. Pisani bounced back after missing the first 26 games of the season due to ulcerative colitis.

Fernando Pisani scored the lone goal for the Oilers in their 3-1 loss to Minnesota on Wednesday night. The goal was unassisted. That was only his 13th goal of the season, but he did score two goals over his last three games now.
