Mike Richards underwent surgery on his left shoulder to repair a torn labrum, and will require 10 weeks of rehab, according to the Associated Press.

Center Mike Richards underwent right shoulder surgery on Friday, and the operation to repair a torn labrum was successful. He will have the same procedure on his left shoulder in two weeks, the Philadelphia Daily News reports. The recovery time is 12 weeks.

Updating a previous report, center Mike Richards will need offseason surgeries on both of his shoulders to repair torn labrums, CSNPhilly.com reports. He will have the right shoulder scoped on Friday. The left shoulder operation will come in roughly two weeks. He estimates that he will need 10-to-12 weeks to recover.
