Looking to spark their offense, the Flyers will go with a line last seen February 17th, that of Mike Richards, Daniel Briere and Scott Hartnell, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer. "Richie and Danny have had an awful lot of success together this year - mind you, mostly on the power play, but they're two of the best offensive players on our team and in the league, two of the leaders on our hockey team for years to come," HC Johns Stevens said. "So we thought we'd give it a look."

Not a surprise at all given the fact that Richards was tremendous across the board with 28 goals, a +14, 31 PP points, five shorties and six game-winning goals. He would appear set to notch the first 80-point season of his career next year.

Flyers star Mike Richards is hoping he can return to action on Saturday, according to the Courier Post. He has been out with a torn hamstring since February 23, yet he still leads the Flyers with 66 points. He cannot battle down low as well as he needs to right now.

Mike Richards, who leads the Flyers with 66 points, ripped his left hamstring in the third period of Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to Florida, according to Philly.com. The team doesn't have a definitive time frame for the return of Richards, but a minimum of three weeks was mentioned in the report. Expecting three weeks as a conservative estimate is logical, and for the remainder of the season, reasonable. The Flyers recalled winger Jesse Boulerice from the AHL Phantoms on Monday to replace Richards.
