Ryan Malone had three goals and was the first star in Friday's 7-4 win over the Islanders. Malone now has seven points in his last two games, and the Malone-Sidney Crosby-Mark Recchi trio combined for 11 points Friday. So long as Malone can stay with this heady company, he's worth a pickup in all formats, so check your waiver wire right now, he's still free in some leagues.

Ryan Malone has been medically cleared to return to action, though he may not play tonight, according to the Post-Gazette. Malone has been out since Oct. 21 with a broken forearm.

Ryan Malone is expected to have the cast removed from his broken forearm on Monday, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. However, he still has to regain strength in his arm, so he likely won't return to action until the first week of December.
