Jeff Hamilton inked a two-year, $1.6 million contract with Carolina on Sunday. "Jeff is a very fast-skating, offensive-minded forward," Carolina general manager Jim Rutherford told the AP. "He is capable of playing the point on the power play and is a good fit for our system." Hamilton scored 18 goals and posted 21 assists with Chicago last year.
