Niklas Kronwall has missed a couple of games with a lower-body injury and even skated in pregame warm-ups to test the injury out. According to MLive.com he will not play in tonight's game.

Defenseman Niklas Kronwall picked up a power play goal and added an assist as Detroit defeated the Oilers 4-0 on Monday.

Niklas Kronwall has been activated by the Wings on Thursday while they assigned Kyle Quincey to the minors to make room on the roster, this according to the AP. The Wings defense is a mess, so getting Kronwell back from his injured shoulder is a huge boost. Out since Late January, Kronwell figures to pick right up with his solid all-around game for the Wings. Activate him if you normally would for Friday's game with the Sharks.
