Ottawa has signed Chris Kelly to a four-year extension, according to the AP. Financial terms were not disclosed, but it is believed to be in the $8.5-million range.

Chris Kelly might be able to return for Game 3 or 4 of the opening series against the Penguins, the Ottawa Citizen reports. He has been out due to a hairline fracture in his right leg. Kelly's timetable appears to be ahead of teammates Daniel Alfredsson and Mike Fisher.
