The Stars recalled Dan Ellis from Iowa of the AHL to replace Marty Turco on the roster for Monday's game. Turco didn't travel with the Stars to St. Louis because he's suffering from the flu.

Dan Ellis accepted his one-year qualifying offer from Dallas on Friday, according to the AP. Ellis went 10-15-4 with a 2.77 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage in 31 games with Hamilton of the American Hockey League in 2004-05.
