The Sharks reassigned Nolan Schaefer to Cleveland of the AHL on Thursday, according to the AP. He went 5-1-0 with a 1.88 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage in seven games while filling in for Evgeni Nabokov and Vesa Toskala, who were out with injuries.

The Sharks recalled Nolan Schaefer from Cleveland of the AHL, because Evgeni Nabokov is out with an upper body injury, according to the AP. Schaefer will serve as the backup to Vesa Toskala. Schaefer was 1-2 with a 3.01 goals-against average for Cleveland prior to him promotion.
