Andrew Ladd has signed a two-year extension to remain with the Blackhawks, according to the AP. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Andrew Ladd scored his 14th goal of the season Saturday against the rival St. Louis Blues. Ladd has taken advantage of his a chance in Chicago and playing on a line with veteran Patrick Sharp and rookie David Bolland has been favorable. The Hawks are expected to sign the restricted free agent this off-season. Ladd has the potential to be a 20 goal scorer.

The Blackhawks picked up Andrew Ladd from the Canes Tuesday in exchange for Tuomo Ruutu. Ladd has 18 points in 43 games this season.
