Lukas Kaspar was assigned to Worcester of the American Hockey League today by the San Jose Sharks, according to the Associated Press.

The Sharks placed forward Lukas Kaspar on waivers on Monday, the San Jose Mercury News reports. If no other team claims him, Kaspar will head to Worcester.
