Mike Green tallied a power-play goal in Saturday's win over Carolina. The sharp-shooting blueliner now has five goals, against just four assisnts, in 23 games this year.

Mike Green has healed from his bruised foot quicker than expected, and he will suit up for the YoungStars Game tonight, according to the Washington Post. "I'm looking forward to playing with some of the best young guys in the league," Green said. "It's a great honor to be here and to be a part of something I grew up watching. I would have been very disappointed if I couldn't play."

Mike Green skated yesterday and might be able to return to action tonight, according to the Washington Post. He missed Thursday's game with a bruised foot after being clipped by a slap shot on Tuesday.

Mike Green will miss Thursday's game and could be out longer after taking a slap shot off the left foot Tuesday, according to the Washington Post. An X-ray of Green's foot didn't reveal a fracture, but until the swelling goes down, the extent of the injury won't be known. "It's a little more than day-to-day," GM George McPhee said.
