Updating an earlier story, Corey Perry has indeed singed on to remain with the Anaheim Ducks, according to Slam Sports. The deal is for $26.625 million over the next five years. "Corey is one of the top young players in the NHL today," said GM Brian Burke. "He's a true Duck, a hard-nosed goal-scorer who's difficult to play against."

Corey Perry is on the verge of signing Corey Perry to a long-term deal, according to TSN. No dollar figures are yet known, but TSN is reporting that the offer on the table is very close to the one that the team signed Ryan Getzlaf to last season, one that is worth over $5 million annually.

Corey Perry has been extended a qualify offer by the Ducks meaning they have the right to match any contract that is offered to him, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
