Nigel Dawes has been performing well in training camp while skating on a line with Chris Drury and Petr Prucha, according to Newsday. He said, "Came early, I feel pretty good, got a little more comfortable. It's been competitive, but it's so much shorter than last year. And our line's been clicking. The idea is to carry that over into some games."

The Rangers re-signed Nigel Dawes to a one-year, $587,500 deal Wednesday, according to TSN.ca. Dawes registered 14 goals and 15 assists in 61 games for the Blueshirts last season.
