Ryane Clowe was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of drunken driving, the AP reports. Clowe has been out of the lineup for two months after undergoing knee surgery. "I am embarrassed by what happened, but take full responsibility for this regrettable mistake," Clowe said.

The Sharks placed Ryane Clowe on injured reserve Sunday due to a knee injury that he suffered Saturday. There is no timetable for Clowe's return, according to the AP.
