Ryan Stone has cleared waivers with Pittsburgh and will be assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Ryan Stone has signed a one-year deal to remain with the Penguins next season, according to the AP. Financial details were not disclosed.

The Penguins on Monday recalled center Ryan Stone from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League. Stone is in his second stint with the Penguins this season. He was recalled on January 7 and played four games for Pittsburgh without recording a point. In 38 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Stone has seven goals and 14 assists.
