The Predators signed Pekka Rinne to a two-year contract on Monday, according to the Canadian Press. Financial terms were not disclosed. He spent last season playing for the team’s minor league affiliate in Milwaukee.

The Predators signed Pekka Rinne to a two-year contract on Monday, according to the AP. He posted a 15-7-6 record with three shutouts and a 2.34 goals-against average with Milwaukee of the AHL last season and is expected to backup Chris Mason this year for Nashville.
