Andrew Cogliano scored two goals for the Oilers on Monday night to give him 18 goals and 43 points in an excellent rookie season. Cogliano is one of the main reasons for the Oilers recent offensive surge as he has seven goals and 11 points in his last 12 games marking him as a solid waiver-wire pick up for the rest of the season.

Andrew Cogliano enjoyed his first multi-goal game as he knocked in two as he helped Edmonton down Chicago 6-5 in overtime. That was also the second straight game that he scored the game winner in OT.

Andrew Cogliano had an assist Thursday and leads the Oilers with six points in seven games. The first-round pick from 2005 certainly looks comfortable in his first NHL season.
