Martin Hanzal is expected to be ready for the start of the 2008-09 campaign after undergoing back surgery in mid-July, according to the Arizona Republic.

Phoenix center Martin Hanzal has a herniated disc in his back and will undergo surgery to repair it, according to The Sports Network. He is expected to be ready for training camp in September.
