Goaltender Dan LaCosta was called up Sunday by the Columbus Blue Jackets, according to the AP. He will replace Pascal Leclaire who suffered a sprained ankle in the second period of the Blue Jackets 2-1 loss to the Wild on Saturday.

The AP reports that Columbus Blue Jackets assigned goaltender Dan LaCosta to Syracuse of the American Hockey League on Sunday. LaCosta stopped 15 of 17 shots in 35 minutes of action after relieving Fredrik Norrena in a 6-3 loss to the Nashville Predators.
