Niklas Backstrom stopped 28 of 30 shots on Saturday night but it wasn't enough as the Wild lost Game 6 and the first round series to the Avalanche.

Niklas Backstrom enjoyed a strong outing in net, pushing 32 of 33 shots aside, allowing just one goal on the evening (96.97% saves) to push the Minnesota Wild to a 3-1 win over Edmonton. Backstrom hasn't suffered a loss since March 4th and appears to be in fine form coming down the stretch.
