Jonathan Toews had an assist in Saturday's loss to Atlanta, giving him a nine-game point streak to open his rookie year. Oddly, Toews has exactly one point in every one of those games, but it's only a matter of time before the immensely-talented rookie piles up multiple points in a game.

The Blackhawks and forward Jonathan Toews agreed to terms on a three-year contract on Wednesday, according to a report published by NHL.com. Toews scored 18 goals and logged 34 assists at the University of North Dakota last season. He was the third overall pick in the 2006 draft.
