It appears that Jonathan Bernier might start in goal for the Kings when they open the season up in London, England this afternoon. "He's a remarkable young guy," coach Marc Crawford told the LA Times. Bernier should have a bright future in the NHL, but whether he sticks around for the long haul of this season is uncertain. The club already has Jason LaBarbera and Jean-Sebastien Aubin on the roster, so it's more likely that Bernier will head to the minors before he reaches the 10-game threshold. That said, if he sticks and plays well, he could be a decent sleeper on an improved Kings team.
