The Nashville Predators agreed to terms Tuesday with left wing Triston Grant on a one-year contract, according to PA Sports Ticker.

Triston Grant may have a roll with the Predators replacing the depaarted Darcy Hordichuk, according to the Tennessean. "He's a tough kid and he's a prospect," GM David Poile said. "I think we need to get to know each other a little better and that's what training camp is all about. But we want to put him in a position where he can vie for that role.''
