Krys Barch was signed to a 2-year contract extension to remain with the Stars according to NHL.com. Barch will make $1.15 million over the next two seasons. Barch is a rough and tumble player who offers physicality in spades. He had 107 PIM in 26 games last year, and this year he has 78 in 34 games. He can't score a lick though with only eight points in his career.

Krys Barch will be out 7-10 days with a broken toe on his left foot, according to the Dallas Morning News. Barch injured the toe in Sunday's game when he was hit by a puck.

Krys Barch was knocked out of yesterday's game with a foot injury, according to the Dallas Morning News. It's not clear when Barch, who sustained the injury when he was hit by a puck, will return to action.
