The Avalanche re-signed forward Cody McLeod to a one-year deal on Monday, the Sports Network reports. McLeod, 24, scored nine points in 49 games as a rookie. He also piled up 120 penalty minutes.

Cody McLeod scored his first goal of the playoffs in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Detroit in Game 3. He has one assist through the playoffs as well.
