TSN.ca reports that a bad case of the flu bug has forced the Carolina Hurricanes to recall three players. Defensemen Casey Borer , Tim Conboy and Joey Mormina were all called up from from Albany on Thursday. Center Matt Cullen, right wing Patrick Eaves and defenseman Dennis Seidenberg were all placed on injured reserve. Conboy made his Hurricane debut against Colorado on January 12 and notched an assist in the team's 5-4 loss.
