Coyotes forward Daniel Winnik, who suffered a bruised midsection when he was struck by a puck during Monday's practice, sat out Tuesday night's game, according to the Arizona Republic.

Daniel Winnik netted a goal against the Predators on Sunday night but couldn't help his Coyote teammates overcome a 6-3 Nashville beating. The young center has 15 points on the season but currently no fantasy value.
