Alexei Kovalev is still trying to overcome the lingering soreness in his groin though he did skate on Thursday, according to the Montreal Gazette. "We'll see how Alex responds (this) morning," Carbonneau said. "I put him in the lineup for (tonight), but we'll see how he feels because we don't want to force him."
