Martin Straka hyperextended his right leg and pulled a hamstring last night when he got his skate caught in a rut, according to the New York Daily News. At this point, he's considered to be day-to-day.

Martin Straka re-signed with the Rangers on Thursday, according to the AP. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, it has been reported by TSN of Canada that Straka agreed to a one-year deal worth $3.1 million. Straka posted 22 goals and 54 assists centering a line with Jaromir Jagr last season.
