Derian Hatcher has not played since breaking his leg on March 15, but he wants to play in Game 3 tonight against Washington, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer. He skated yesterday and said he feels strong, and added, "I'm healthy. I'm ready. I haven't talked to anybody. I'm not calling the shots. My conditioning is not going to be 100 percent, but it's fine. I hope to play."

The Flyers have confirmed that Derian Hatcher will miss the remainder of the season due to a fractured leg, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "He has a small nondisplaced fracture of the tibia and a very severe contusion," general manager Paul Holmgren. "He's probably going to be out a month." He sustained the injury when he was hit by a shot during Saturday's game and finishes the season with seven points and 33 PIM in 44 games played.

Derian Hatcher sustained a broken right leg during Saturday's game, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. "There's a troublesome spot on the X-rays," general manager Paul Holmgren said yesterday. "We won't know until tomorrow and we get an MRI. It's a weight-bearing bone on the lower leg." Unless something good comes of the MRI, it sounds like Hatcher's season may be over. We'll have updates as they come in.

Derian Hatcher could be back in the lineup Saturday against the Islanders, according to the Courier Post. He's been out three weeks with a knee injury. Derian isn't worth anything in fantasy anymore, so it doubtful anyone is clamoring to get him back on their roster.

Derian Hatcher will miss a minimum of three weeks according to Philly.com. Hatcher is suffering from a sore right knee. Hatcher had surgery earlier in the season to clean out bits of torn ligament and relieve fluid and just hasn't recovered fully.
