Martin Rucinsky , playing his first game since a shoulder injury at Dallas on Dec. 29, drew the game's first penalty on a hooking call early in the first period. The left winger finished his first game back with -1 but was able to skate for over 18 minutes.

After missing 16 games since separating his left shoulder, Martin Rucinsky is almost ready to return to the Blues' lineup, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He's been skating for three weeks and reported Tuesday that he's closer to being ready to return to action. "I can do everything out there," Rucinsky said. "The only thing I'm concerned about right now is just the contact, getting hit and protecting myself. Once I get over that, it's no problem." Rucinsky has good skills but hasn't been productive this season and likely won't hold any fantasy value down the stretch.
