Jaroslav Modry, 37, will leave the NHL to play for a Czech club according to CBS Sportsline.

Jaroslav Modry will miss at least the first couple of games of the second round of the playoffs as he will fly back to the Czech Republic to attend his father's funeral on Saturday, according to NHL.com.

Jaroslav Modry returned to the lineup Sunday after missing two games with a left shoulder injury. He was expected to miss 1-2 weeks of action but came back in less than a week. Modry has a torn labrum that will require surgery after the season, but he has decided to play through the pain. This is good news for those in Jaroslav Modry-only leagues.
