The Blues have signed Dean McAmmond to a free agent deal, according to TSN.ca. Last season McAmmond played for Albany of the American Hockey League and led the team in scoring with 61 points in 79 games. "Dean is a player who immediately adds speed and quickness to our roster, and that was a top priority for us," said Blues general manager Larry Pleau. "We also believe that he can contribute goal scoring ability and instill veteran experience to our lineup through the strong success he has enjoyed over his NHL career."
