Dean McAmmond suffered a concussion and left Tuesday's game on a stretcher, the AP reports. The 13-year veteran did not move his hands or his feet while he was fully strapped onto the stretcher and taken off the ice. A team spokesman confirmed he had suffered a concussion, and subsequently moved his extremities, and was taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

The Senators re-signed Dean McAmmond to a multi-year contract on Friday, according to ESPN.com. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. McAmmond finished last season with 29 points in 81 games.

Dean McAmmond will miss Game 4 on Monday night. He's recovering from being elbowed in the head by Chris Pronger during Game 3, according to the Ottawa Sun. The NHL suspended Pronger one game for his actions. It's not clear yet whether McCammond will be ready for Game 5.
