Jeremy Roenick could come off injured reserve soon. "I'm just doing what the doctors tell me," Roenick told the Contra Costa Times. The doctors have told him to stay off his sore knee, so he may need a little time to get his legs under him once cleared to hit the ice again.

While Jeremy Roenick says he hasn't given up on the Coyotes making the playoffs this season, he's open-minded to a trade if the team wants to go that route, the Arizona Republic reports. Roenick, 37, is on a one-year deal with the team to begin with; he's got 19 points and a minus-11 rating this season.
