The NHL has suspended Chris Pronger for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals due to his forearm to the head of Ottawa's Dean McAmmond in Game 3. "It was a reaction play. I stepped up to make the hit and got him with my forearm," said Pronger in the AP. "Obviously you've got to suffer the consequences of what's come down. It was a situation we were in last series, and certainly teammates rallied around me and rallied around one another. Certainly we're looking for that again."

Chris Pronger could be looking at a possible NHL suspension after a questionable hit of his on Ottawa's Dean McAmmond in Saturday's Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, the AP reports. Pronger was suspended for a game earlier in this playoffs, for a shot he took at Detrot's Thomas Holmstrom in mid-May.

Chris Pronger was issued a one-game suspension for delivering a blow to the head of Red Wings forward Tomas Holmstrom in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final. NHL.com reports that Pronger will serve the suspension in Game 4 on Thursday.

Chris Pronger will be out at least two weeks with a broken bone in his left big toe, the Los Angeles Times reports. The injury isn't related to the broken bone in his left foot that he suffered in a Dec. 31 game against Minnesota, which kept him out of action until after the All-Star break.
