Yanic Perreault has a fracture in his right wrist that will keep him out of the lineup indefinitely. "He'll be in a splint for a week to 10 days, then we'll see how he is," coach Denis Savard said in the Chicago Sun-Times. Perreault has been useless in fantasy this year - unless you're in a league that rewards heavily for faceoff percentage.

The Blackhawks signed Yanic Perreault to a one-year contract on Sunday. Terms were not disclosed. Perreault scored 21 goals and posted 17 assists last year.

Phoenix traded Yanic Perreault to Toronto Tuesday in exchange for defenseman Brendan Bell and a second-round pick in 2007, according to the Canadian Press. Perreault has 19 goals and 14 assists in 49 games this season.
