The Blackhawks signed Yanic Perreault to a one-year contract on Sunday. Terms were not disclosed. Perreault scored 21 goals and posted 17 assists last year.

Phoenix traded Yanic Perreault to Toronto Tuesday in exchange for defenseman Brendan Bell and a second-round pick in 2007, according to the Canadian Press. Perreault has 19 goals and 14 assists in 49 games this season.

Yanic Perreault rested his sore shoulder at Thursday's practice but he's still expected to play Friday, the Arizona Republic reports. Perreault also had two goals Wednesday in the pick-up match the NHL disguises as an All-Star Game.
