The AP reports that the Senators have acquired forward Cory Stillman and defenseman Mike Commodore from the Hurricanes for forward Patrick Eaves and defenseman Joe Corvo. Stillman is the best player in this trade and goes to one of the most explosive teams in the NHL. He had 21 goals and 46 points in 55 games this season and should produce at a point-per-game clip in Ottawa. Stillman waived a no-trade clause to complete the deal.
