Scott Walker scored a goal and added an assist on Wednesday night for the Canes. Walker has been on a nice run of games with points of late as he has two goals and five assists over the last six games as he has also added 12 PIM as well.

Scott Walker scored a goal, added two assists and was a +3 in the 5-3 Carolina victory over the Thrashers. After a 21 goal, 51 point season last year injuries have limited Walker to just seven goals and 20 points in 40 games in a down second season with the Hurricanes.

Scott Walker dressed at Ottawa Thursday and saw 17 minutes of playing time. The oft-injured Walker is coming back from a knee injury.
