The Flames and Daymond Langkow have a deal in place to keep the center in Calgary, the Calgary Sun reports. Langkow is due to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Rumors suggest his new deal will be worth about $5 million per season.

Daymond Langkow, who missed the Flames last game to attend a funeral, should be back in the lineup for the squad in the Battle of Alberta with the Oilers on Tuesday, this according to TSN. Langkow is one goal from his second straight 30-goal campaign, and given the fact that he has 13 tallies with the man advantage, he has been one of the league's best secondary scorers from the center position.
